The speed isnt rapid (30RPM) but its very quiet in operation. Both of the motor models I bought came with instructions for the remotes, there was a section detailing several of the motor direction.
Tuya nowadays isnt a bad app. My main concern was that my blinds are fitted tight to limit of recess so if the motor was wider than the current set up I wouldnt be able to use them. The AM43 Tuya model I have has a PHYSICAL mechanism for open/close of Venetian type blinds slats I believe. Still doesn't work for me, though.

I will admit to being unclear what they do. press down arrow and drive to bottom of window, then press stop.
There are timers and schedules, options to reverse the motor direction and a simple automation panel where you can create different policies based on sensors or triggers.
They always have interesting things to add to home automation and this year sales look interesting.

Inside the Zemismart Roller Shade Driver, there are 2 18600 batteries keeping this thing connected and plenty of space to DIY extra things should you need to. Took me ages / lots of deciphering to work out ZHA pairing. I use ZHA for reference.
Its an add on, so it can be easily flashed or replaced. Shellbot SL60 knows where you left your socks! I have relatively normal US windows with maybe 36 inches of vertical travel and the slow speed takes about 6 minutes while the fast speed takes maybe 2 for end-to-end operation. tj@E

I used one of these controllers before, but the last one was wired and screamed at me like a banshee. Better yet, is there a way to set them through HE? The cable can be used for charging with the device in operation, or simply remove the driver from the wall and take it to your charging station. Press set, then up, then up again. Press set on the driver one more time.

You should be able to get 3-4 months on a single charge which is more than reasonable. They said it can however be done through the app, so if you pair a motor to a hub, you should be able to configure that in the app. Naively I assumed as ST has Zigbee, it would work as a controller for this Zigbee device - but it appears not. If you short-press the up/down physical buttons it does a slow speed and short run - I estimate enough to open/close the slats.
These limitations will make everyone angry! It has splines which drive against the inner lip where the blind fabric is mounted. There are 3 limits (TOP and BOTTOM are mandatory for correct operation) and blinds will travel to the nearest limit based on your input.
I was able to pair my Zemismart M515EGBZTN to my hub without too much trouble (I have 5 right now).

Answering my own question: yes, I've finally figured out how to reset the device, which turns out to have been the unlocker to getting limits set.
Of the included options only the clear one with the alternating teeth seems to work on my bead chain and, unfortunately, the service life seems to have been about 50 duty cycles before the plastic wore out.

Smartthings will now find it, but you have to go into the IDE right afterwards and assign the device handler to Tuya Window Shade otherwise you cant do anything with it. Theres a few different versions around, but if you get one like the one I liked I can confirm Ive had it running for weeks now with no issues.
One of my units refuses to confirm limits via the LEDs while the remaining four set as I'd imagine but the limits don't actually work.

The speed isnt rapid (30RPM) but its very quiet in operation. Both of the motor models I bought came with instructions for the remotes, there was a section detailing several of the motor direction.
Tuya nowadays isnt a bad app. My main concern was that my blinds are fitted tight to limit of recess so if the motor was wider than the current set up I wouldnt be able to use them. The AM43 Tuya model I have has a PHYSICAL mechanism for open/close of Venetian type blinds slats I believe. Still doesn't work for me, though.

There are timers and schedules, options to reverse the motor direction and a simple automation panel where you can create different policies based on sensors or triggers.
They always have interesting things to add to home automation and this year sales look interesting.

Inside the Zemismart Roller Shade Driver, there are 2 18600 batteries keeping this thing connected and plenty of space to DIY extra things should you need to. Took me ages / lots of deciphering to work out ZHA pairing. I use ZHA for reference.
Its an add on, so it can be easily flashed or replaced. Shellbot SL60 knows where you left your socks! I have relatively normal US windows with maybe 36 inches of vertical travel and the slow speed takes about 6 minutes while the fast speed takes maybe 2 for end-to-end operation. tj@E

I used one of these controllers before, but the last one was wired and screamed at me like a banshee. Better yet, is there a way to set them through HE? The cable can be used for charging with the device in operation, or simply remove the driver from the wall and take it to your charging station. Press set, then up, then up again. You should be able to get 3-4 months on a single charge which is more than reasonable. They said it can however be done through the app, so if you pair a motor to a hub, you should be able to configure that in the app. Naively I assumed as ST has Zigbee, it would work as a controller for this Zigbee device - but it appears not. If you short-press the up/down physical buttons it does a slow speed and short run - I estimate enough to open/close the slats.
These limitations will make everyone angry! It has splines which drive against the inner lip where the blind fabric is mounted. There are 3 limits (TOP and BOTTOM are mandatory for correct operation) and blinds will travel to the nearest limit based on your input.
I was able to pair my Zemismart M515EGBZTN to my hub without too much trouble (I have 5 right now).

Answering my own question: yes, I've finally figured out how to reset the device, which turns out to have been the unlocker to getting limits set.
Of the included options only the clear one with the alternating teeth seems to work on my bead chain and, unfortunately, the service life seems to have been about 50 duty cycles before the plastic wore out.

Smartthings will now find it, but you have to go into the IDE right afterwards and assign the device handler to Tuya Window Shade otherwise you cant do anything with it. Theres a few different versions around, but if you get one like the one I liked I can confirm Ive had it running for weeks now with no issues.
One of my units refuses to confirm limits via the LEDs while the remaining four set as I'd imagine but the limits don't actually work.
Can you maybe copy the corrected code?
I never had this issue before, the up-down buttons in the app work well.

In case it helps, here are the instructions I got for my roller shade to delete the limits: I found that I set the down limit a bit to low and was provided the following instructions to delete them. Be aware there are different model Zemismart blind motors.
