The top is a light purple. If it were me, I'd go over the roots with a light brown dye. Can oxidizer mixed with white conditioner work as toner?? I'm honestly not sure how it will work on hair that already has a product on it. My biggest mistake was not using a dye-remover to take out the red dye. so the logical formula to tone using hair dye would be to take a *small* amount of purple hair dye and mix it with a much larger amount of white conditioner. I did my roots with strawberry blond then I had my hair highlighted my roots look very brassy but in another week my roots will need touch up very concerned ???? Want it warmer. I did a test strand with the charcoal. I would just try to tone again if it is only light yellow streaks! Should I leave the purple dye in longer the next time to achieve a lighter hair colour?
