My local Rockler carries several species, red oak, cherry, walnut and occasionally others. thats only 1" into each side of the joint. With spiral cut that ain't never so.

My local Rockler carries several species, red oak, cherry, walnut and occasionally others. thats only 1" into each side of the joint. With spiral cut that ain't never so.
