I didnt make the sale at that point, but as I walked away, I knew that this was a scent that I would be buying sometime.
Ugh, I want to wear this and walk around in a Mediterranean garden in a flower printed dress. Uplifting, good for summer and spring with ok perfomance. I was waiting to be something like a sweet fig, but is rather green and fresh. The smells amazing, never knew how much I liked the smell of fig until now, I'm concerned whether this is a little too sweet and feminine but I'd probably wear it anyway because it smells so delicious. Fruity figy fragrance with some citrus. Projection is good for the first hour or so. Such a fresh clean fruity scent. Excellent--fresh, delicious, figgy but not too figgy. Fresh and slightly sweet citrus fig blend. But the benzoin drydown is pungent and irritating; ultimately not a repeat buy.
I did not like this one on first spray (early spring). Acqua DI Parma, Fico DI Amalfi, form their Blu Mediterraneo LINE. Very unisex, my only issue was it didn't last long enough. Was able to get the 50ml version for about 50$- very happy about the purchase. Very unisex and long lasting, for a citrus scent. One reviewer described this scent as being akin to body odour - and I totally get it. I wear it once in a while but prefer it on my man. If this only had better performance, I would cop a bottleI'm getting a more delicate peach/apricot note instead of fig, but this makes it smell much more like summer! Very inoffensive and pleasing. As mentioned by many, it is not long-lasting. Fruity, sweet, relaxing, and somewhat green. It doesn't have a lot of ambroxan or musks or other chemical compounds that irritate my nose. But it's kind of a diffuse citrus sweetness. 
This opens very citrusy, however with the softer notes of the fig leaves which become more prominent later. Truly unisex, fresh, spicy, juicy, and irresistible. This is very fresh and beautiful. Super juicy grapefruit and fig right off the bat. The citruses aren't groundbreakingly fresh or pretty, the fig is the better part of the scent and gets warmer in the drydown .But despite what the notes suggest the fig is very subtle to my nose. I can see both men and women wearing this fragrance however I think the sweetness makes it lean ever so slightly feminine. Great for men and women! It will save you a hundred bucks. I have gotten about 3.5 hours of good, solid scent, then I am more than happy to pick up the bottle and apply more. Longevity is moderate (better compared to Bergamotto di Calabria and Arancia di Capri, but worse than the other fragrances). It is still a bit soapy, but fresh and crisp. Its fresh and vibrant, and this seems to last a long time on my skin. Perfect for summer and the hotter weather. The mid starts very quickly (almost 2 minutes later) and it becomes a totally different scent. This fragrance makes me want to quit everything and move to the Mediterranean coast of Italy. Zesty, green and fruity heaven. It's just tough because it's a strong smell that's hard to place. Upon the very first whiff of this when I smelled it in an Acqua di Parma boutique in Rome, I was taken aback, as I had never smelled anything like this before. Kinda smell like the shampoo I use. Nothing artsy or challenging here. I got the lovely (non- B.O.) It literally made you smile. Usually, fig fragrances go coconutty on me, but this does not (which is a plus for me). It does remind me of the beach on a cool day but maybe that is just because of the marketing. Tried it again in the warmer summer months and it's a different beast completely, and now like it a lot. However it can be overpowering at times and when I want to be more discreet I turn to Acqua Di Parma's Fico Di Amalfi. Very nice fragrance! If you want to know how it smells before you buy it just smell some fig fruits and you'll have a general idea. I get to be completely engulfed in this fresh and zesty scent! The best date fruit note I've yet found in a fragrance is in John Varvatos original, and "fruity" is listed as the top dominant accord and the actual fragrance manifests the date note gloriously! Longevity is terrible on my skin4 hours and it's pretty much gone. But as you move into the heart of the fragrance, a hay-like, sweet, fig leaf becomes prominent. Loved every wear I got from my 30ml bottle. But other than that Philosykos is a lot greener and milky, less fresh and airy. Very unique and sophisticated. A fragrance with two different faces. Great warm weather scent. Very natural smelling which is hard to do with fig and apricot, however im not a huge fan of apricot in fragrances so it's a 6/10 for me when you take into account performance of only 3ish hours, but could easily be a 10 for the right person. I get compliments every time I wear it, so I cant ask for anything more from a summer fragrance. The grapefruit and cedarwood add some of fresh, slighty more masculine character, so that I might actually dare to wear it. I have been to Sorrento, Italy, which you may know is situated on the Amalfi coast. Longevity is not that great on my skin, but with 150 ml I can re-apply often. This would make a beautiful bubble bath scent! Fico de Amalfi is such a bright, fresh scent. I have many, many perfumes and this is my favorite. The Mediterranean vibe is lovely, it is playful, and a little refined too. After the pretty good but short citrus blast up front, all I get is fig and jasmine.
I finally own a 150 ml bottle of this after drooling over this fragrance for years now. Opens citrusy ozonic and very bright, then you face a nice fig scent with touches of creamy notes for the heart and after a couple of hrs it dries down to very beautiful cedar wood. I just know it's all fresh and a holiday in a bottle. beautiful opening, this is a juicy fragance rather than citrus fragance. At first, I was really weirded out by this fragrance, mainly because Im not used to fig fragrances at all. Aroma by Costa Brazil: Candidate For Best Fragrance 2022? I would make this my daily scent if it stuck around just a hair longer. Been wearing this for a couple years now intermittently.
Regardless, I love it and when Im wearing it I cant stop smelling my wrists. is average. I'm a man in his early 40s who usually gravitates towards smokier, woody, vetiver fragrances, but I do love a good citrus note as well. Everyone who smelled this on me men or women complimented me. Fig is probably my favorite fruit and it's extremely well done. I grew up around figs and this scent brings back many good memories. If you like beachy citrus scents you will really enjoy this. I like it. I was in the store and said to the female seller I want a nice niche summer fragrance (not so popular one, just to be unique) for hot days for drinking at the terrace, or at the beach or on a boat just relaxing and enjoying the sun. When I was out in the sun for a little bit some woody undertones came thru that were a little synthetic (iso-e-super'ish), but other than that it's a 10/10. I am definitely going to wear this throughout spring-summer and maybe even autumn this year. It smells like a fig nectar with a little musk and jasmine . It's a lovely fig fragrance with florals and citruses behind it.This has been one of my spring/summer scents for the past four years. The lemon scent in this does lean chemical to me but it does not make me like it any less. For a mature man with a mature nose. Yet, has common problems of AdP. Im not a big fan of citrusy perfumes. To be honest, the first time a sprayed this, I thought it smelled like some cheap bathroom sprays, but that is for a very short time. My girlfriend likes this, I think it's good but not wow. Worn this for 3 or so years. Honestly, there is little that I can add to the positive reviews below but what I can tell is that this is the most universally loved fragrance that I have - every single time I wear it I am asked about the brand and the fragrance, where it can be bought etc. If you take this for what it is, its near perfection. Very natural, very uplifting. This one is a masterpiece. There is only a block of the fig accord in Philosykos that is also present in this one too. I am not big fan of green fragrances, but this is by far the best fresh green/ fig fragrance I've tried. This opens citrusy but not like a soapy/cleaner citrus. And if you can tolerate that strange tiny moment when the figs waft out redolent of unwashed pits, chances are you'll get to the point where it turns truly magical and you'll buy it.
So whenever I put on I'm travelling back in time. It's definitely a fresh fig scent that attacks you right away but as it stays longer the earthiness start to show itself. At this niche price point, I just expected way better longevity, sillage and projection. My only lament is that the newer bottles smells different to the one I bought about 7 years ago less woodier and less longevity/sillage. Its very fresh, and Im saying this a someone who usually dislikes grapefruit scent! Any lady Ive had smell this loves it, but more in a hey thats something I would like to wear myself way as opposed to a that smells so sexy on you kind of way. I am in love with this one. Extremely pleasant with amazing Italian vibe. Very simple. I will definitely buy this full-size, and will most probably bathe in it. I think it would be better on women, but I don't think I like fig note very much. Ultra realistic walk along the fig tree lined trails where I live in the south of Spain. I hesitated so many times before buying a 30ml bottle of this. I love to over spray this to feel like a walking Mandarin. The only negatives is that it doesnt last long. Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Fico di Amalfi by Acqua di Parma is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women and men. Definitely unisex. My suggestion - don't blind buy this. Got a really good deal, $60 for a 5oz bottle so i bit the bullet and grabbed it. Which I do, because this one is addictive and I just can't get enough of it. The scent as a whole is very lightweight. I can't really add more than what's been said before - it opens with strong grapefruit and citrus notes, then leads to fig, which are perfect for a summer's day - but with the sample I bought from DcantShop, this gets really close to the skin within about fifteen minutes and doesn't last more than two hours or so on the wrists. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. I would like to smell more from this line! Fantastic, natural smelling Fig Fragrance. What a heartbreaker. This fragrance should be free. I don't find it lasts but it's one of those smells that is best kept fresh and treating it like a building block for itself. The fig is the lead actor here with the more subtle citrus notes in support. Definitely will get compliments. not a basic bitch fragrance, which is always a plus. I love the smell of fig; my favourite fig scent is Philosykos. It's like sitting along the Med at a cafe having wine. I wish it performed better though. Definitely a unique summer scent. Not for the night. It's not too sweet and creamy. So obviously you need to be a fan of fig to like this fragrance. It really does smell like ripping open figs while sitting by the warm sea, there is a salty Tang and a touch of sunny warmth from the ingredients. 30 minmutes longevity. This is an incredible fragrance. Fruity fig with AdP colonia soapy style and very nice grapefruit opening. It's an amazing fresh summery scent but very different, quite creamy with the fig. the best way I could sum it up is by saying: 'Southern coastal Italy in a bottle'. I've never been around fig trees but something tells me this is a 'photorealistic' interpretation. I havent been to a McDonalds for a very long time, so I could be completely offbut I cant get the image out of my head when I smell this which puts me off , I bought a bunch of niche perfume samples and this happens to be one of them. It's okay and I could see that this would smell really nice on the right person, but not on my skin. I see no fig, just citrusy note and neroli. . It smells autenthic in a way where someone could smell it blindly and think it might be a tropical drink rather than a perfume. Quality juice! Guaranteed. And you give, and I love you! It adds uniquness to a typical summer fragrance which I like. The smell helps me unwind and think of low stress times in my life. The fig is moist and natural, but due to the soapiness, the smell refers more to its skin rather than its pulp. I've been complimented on it and is highly inoffensive. I could wear this anywhere in the summer I just wish it would have more silage so others could smell it too. I put the bottle into the back of my cabinet and decided to sell it. It's absolutely perfect for summer, and could also be worn in Spring for sure. I don't get any wood. I wore this to a day-drink and received compliments from both men and women - anybody can pull this off regardless of age or gender. Last for most of the day on a hot day. I love it.Its my favourite from the blu line along with Arancia Di Capri.It smells like summer.You can wear it for a nightout in a Greek island to go drink your cocktails(Arancia di Capri can be worn for the same purpose as well). Definitely unisex. Its dominat but not in ur face. Last about 6 hrs on my skin clothing a little bit longer. would make a great causal summer fragrance. It would be better as a room spray. Too bad it's pretty weak. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Espaol, Franais, etina, Italiano, , Polski, Portugus, , , Nederlands, Srpski, Romn, , , , . In the dry down, it gets a more mix of flowers and wood (jasmine and cedar probably) which is also nice. On my skin it was not very long-lasting, although to be fair I wore it on a very hot day.
