| The bend allowance is the size of that messy bit in the middle which you need to know. Note that we added 1/32" bend allowance wherever there is going to be a 1/4" tab, which is why one dimension is 4" + 2 x 1/4" + 2 x 1/32", and the other is W + 1/4" + 1/32".
