One touch I particularly liked was the welcome letter in the bedroom from the hotel manager. The restaurant is a hit with customers because not only does it serve great food but the staff are professional and friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. I was straight through to the lovely Dorota on the check-in desk whose calm and friendly efficiency made me feel instantly at home and welcome. From there, it's a short walk to Departures. Most importantly, the soundproofing was fantastic, with no external noise despite being on the main road next to the airport, and no internal noise either - the doors close quietly so there's no banging, and the walls between rooms are evidently thick enough to provide sound insulation.
