We had an ocean view with a huge balcony from where we could watch a lot of beautiful birds.The staff is extremely friendly, especially at the restaurant.However, we believe that the hotel does not with 5 star hotels on international standard. They have easy access to the public areas. Many large groups included toddlers and some babies. We went to the hanging bridges (we could walk from our second lodging). Beautiful hand painted place cards awaited each guest, which I later found out were painted by Shawn who is quite the artist. We received the wedding pictures via the download link. Oh, make that 5 chips and a 1/2 pound of guacamole (i'm serious).

I will not recommend this to anyone who is considering Villa Caletas for their wedding, there are many other places in Costa Rica, you just have to do more research.More. It was like Dracula's Castle with spiders instead of bats. June 2015 The Beach Bungalow (1 room) is the dream place for those who are willing to disconnect from the world in an easy and peaceful way. We walked the 60 plus stairs from reception to the top, and then 110 steps down to our room (and we weren't the furthest).

The rooms are well apointed and clean. I called down to the front desk, and they didn't know why it was gone, but said they wold get another one. They have a terrace and some Villas have partial ocean view; others will have garden or Mountain View. They have a partial ocean view and are located in either of the main buildings (few steps).
All We did go into Jaco for one meal at El Hacaco. Dinner is served at the restaurant with dancing on the attached patio.
Standard rooms are equipped with two twin beds.
January 2019 My advice is not to stay here, but to come up for drinks and appetizers at sunset.
I absolutely LOVE it! The room service was not great, if we order chicken, they brought us burgers instead, and had to wait a long time to get our food as they only have one restaurant in the main area, htey have to transport food to the new location and it gets cold.
The hotel has 2 distinct sections.
They cannot guarantee any kind of view. This is the only place to stay in Jaco. Before making decisions on a particular destination and travel plans, we highly recommend you speak with your specialist. Distinguished by a combination of gray colour and wood, which gives the feeling of being floating among clouds. Villa Pelicano Villa Caletas is built on top of the hill and it made perfect sense! We also noticed the waiters filling up wine glasses with our expensive wine on every glass to all empty tables and not asking guests if they wanted more, doubling our alcohol price. They have a very nice ampitheater that you can get married at.
Villa Caletas The couple had a ring warming ceremony where the guests pass around the wedding rings during the ceremony touching them and filling them with good thoughts and wishes for the couple.

We are so happy with the results, you couldn't have done a better job! It consist of two rooms, jacuzzi and terrace with a magnificent view of the ocean.
We stayed at Villa Caletas from December 26 to 30, 2007 and found the hotel and service to be exceptional. This suite is inspired by the Latin American culture, its art, ethnic mix, and a classic decoration.
Elopement They are located a few steps away and have easy access to the public areas.
Thanks to them I will be able to relive these moments with family,friends and future children. My husband and I didn't notice them through the entire wedding, they just seem to scatter around the venue and take the best pictures you could possibly imagine.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and we had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss other aspects of Costa Rica with him.We are not anti-social, but if you want to use your guide for the most informative tours, do them alone. This hotel offers three restaurants, pool, hot tubs, spa, beauty salon, a private boat, several tours for its visitors, and an available wedding service of romantic elegance. Master Suite Me and my buddy were sharing a bed and a rollaway bed (no two bed rooms were available). The hotel is very nicely located, far away from noisy and not so nice Jaco, with lots of nature, fantastic view of the ocean and lovely ambiente. Sergio and his assistant dropped to the floor when needed to truly capture a moment, they sincerely went out of their way to make things perfect! They offer the best wedding services and combine the finest elements to ensure a perfect and unforgettable experience The chefs will create a masterpiece menu and the decor will play second to the beautiful setting. February 2014 We stayed in a beautiful suite for $600 per night, the bed was very unconfortable and hard. 20 minutes later, still nothing, so I called back down (I wanted to go to bed!). This is bad service, and come to think of it, I don't think I've had service this bad anywere, and I've stayed in hotels rooms ranging from $40-$1500 a night.
July 2017 They are awesome !! We elected to do the day after shoot and we are both very happy that we did. The Junior Suites (7 rooms) provide more space and luxury than Villas. We had a difficult time sleeping the 4 nights and were exhausted.
