That paint is a soybean oil alkyd paint. If it were me I would go ahead and use it like it is and at the end of the season sandblast it and do it over.

Actually, no. Don't know if you noticed it or not, but the Majic brand spray paint, while in a std sized spray can, doesn't have as much paint in the can, think it's 9 oz compared to 12 oz.

As far as recommending a paint, that would depend on if you could get the means of spraying the paint. You should cut the paint with mineral spirits to thin it. It's just my opinion, but after I did all that work and prep on my trailer I wouldn't trust it to $25/gallon tractor paint.. Good paint, paint that stands up well to the environment, keeps a good surface shine, and is resistant to surface cracking and eventual peeling, costs money to make. That paint is a soybean oil alkyd paint. If it were me I would go ahead and use it like it is and at the end of the season sandblast it and do it over.

It's just my opinion, but after I did all that work and prep on my trailer I wouldn't trust it to $25/gallon tractor paint.. Good paint, paint that stands up well to the environment, keeps a good surface shine, and is resistant to surface cracking and eventual peeling, costs money to make.
