I wanted something like Love's Fresh Lemon as I am 60 now and those scents are rare and so trying to find them is getting harder. The new flushes become red-brown when immature and light to dark green as they mature. It is beyond intrusive. Fresh Brown Sugar was what I expected/wanted this to smell like. Wakes me right up! I actually have The Body Shop's Lychee Blossom. This is lemon candy, it's sugar and lemon and to my nose there isn't a hint of the lemon cleaner fragrance that I've found in others like Comme des Garcons Series 6 Synthetic: Soda, which has a very cleaner-scent to me. Fruit can be dried in the sun or in ovens, with good retention of flavor. It's sweet, lemony, light, and refreshing - kind of like lemonade but with a nice sandalwood base which makes it understatedly sexy. You can search this perfume note in combination with other notes if you use Search by notes, Botanical Name Litchi chinensis Family Sapindaceae Common Name Litchi, Lychee. It was for a holiday fragrance and the reviews sounded great but I've never been so disappointed. I sooooo wanted to love this as i think Lemon is one of the most beautiful and uplifting scents in nature and I want that smell caputred so badly. It is sweet, but subtle, refined and mild with a hint of vanillin in the background and lots of freshness like a fine fragrance. Those are nice frags with litchi.
