We do have a friend who had a Trex deck professionally installed in a home they purchased at the same time we installed ours. It has the best-looking colours of all of Trexs decking with a deep wood-grain texture. I was forced to replace some of the original steps with the new product to create the new thickness needed and I again installed this decking with top mounted screws. The posts are already set with the roof covered. But I did the dawn soapy water wash and that didnt help. we put in trex deck about 15 years ago and have had none of the above stated problems.

Trex installed thirteen years ago and it is structurally as perfect as the day we installed it. Will be contacting my contractor but this isnt acceptable for the amount of money and supposed high quality.
They are soft, love to strip, you need a powerful fast drill to sink them and then they don't back out if you made a mistake. this was done awhile ago like i said (about 15yrs.)
