Many families living here full time so you can imagine the laundry needs. There are 286 listings and 11484 reviews. The sites were clean with new outdoor furniture on them. Burke Lake Park is one of the largest campgrounds near Alexandria, Virginia. The FamCamp was clean but the dumpster area was not, trash everywhere not in the dumpster. Outdoor Rec closed at 3 p.m. and we arrived to check in just after. Entering and exiting the base there were a couple exits off of 95. Storing RV on the Fort for $5 per day. We are going to come back here next year and stay a little longer on the way down. The RV park is built on a hill side, presumably to give as many sites as possible a nice view of the Potomac, but we think most RVers would rather be level. Now.For the NOT So Good HARD TO GET RESERVATIONS There is so many long term active duty and DOD living here. On our ride back up north we were at the bottom of the hill near the entry gate.
