I just received this Kaweco Mini piston style converter with a Kaweco Classic

This is the kaweco fountain pen converter for their Sport model. I bought the converter cause it looks better than a cartridge and I don't use it for long writing periods. Just in case anybody else wonders.
Note: This converter may not be compatible with Kaweco AL or AC Sport Fountain Pens produced before 2016. It also fits in the Kaweco DIA2. If you don't, the pen I haven't had any issues with it. 
The converter has a plunger fill system that measures 1 3/8" when compressed and 2" in length when fully drawn out. Unit B2 Astonbury Lane, I didnt realize this initially, thinking the piston rod would somehow remain flush with the end of the converter when filled. Mini *. 
Will fit almost any pen that uses international standard cartridges - not the Kaweco Lilliput, that is just too small! re-designed version.

was my assumption that I could draw the plunger back to its fullest extent, 
My Kaweco Sport pens are all plastic but when eyedroppered they burp-a lot. will "burp" ink when you try to screw on the barrel. Thats not how this converter works. Thats not abnormal, but due to the small size I had to stick my left thumb and index finger practically inside the top of the ink bottle to pull back the piston properly.
